Dr. Mark Dal Porto was born in San Francisco at the UC Medical Center and grew up locally in Sunnyvale where he graduated from Homestead High School.

 

He then went on to attend UC Berkeley where he earned a bachelor's in Biology. He then attended UCSF where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He continued his post-graduate education at UCSF Pediatric Dental Residency where he received his Pediatric Dental Certificate.

Dr. Mark's father, Dr. Donald Dal Porto, was also a pediatric dentist practicing in Sunnyvale since 1962. Dr. Mark's dad inspired him to enter this rewarding profession. Dr. Mark eventually took over his dad's practice in 1991. Dr. Mark joined Sunnyvale Pediatric Dentistry in 2021.

Dr. Mark has been married for more than 30 years and has two grown sons.  He resides in Pleasanton and enjoys playing golf with his wife, friends, and family.

In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, gardening, and watching sports.
